Every option is fixed, including windows XP only, and the screen size. The total price is £299, or £328 (for a 2 year collect & return) which puts it on the wrong side of the Acer Aspire by miles - no chance I’d buy at this price - it needs £120 taking off it immediately. But no linux option is the killer for me. I’d rather spend double on an M1330 at the Dell outlet store…
Update: Just talked to Dell - Linux version on 21st September. It should be cheaper than the XP version (no license to pay), though they may cut down the specs too since it doesn’t need as much to run Linux - hopefully Ubuntu.
